Title IX- Part II

In February of 2019, JAMS gathered together the general counsel of a major university system (also a former GC at an independent college), a pair of nationally renowned advocates – one for claimants and one for respondents – the editor in chief of one of the nation’s most widely read legal publications and one of our panelists with the most experience in Title IX (thank you, Jane Greenspan) and we discussed everything from the uncertainty associated with new regulations to the obligations imposed by case law to the role of trauma in Title IX adjudications and much more.

The day was split into two sections – one exclusively for panelists in the morning and the other open to the public in the afternoon. Both are included in this Institute Library offering. Paired with earlier, more introductory videos from Los Angeles last winter, these materials form the basis of a solid foundation in Title IX practices and adjudication. For anyone interested in pursuing this practice, these (and select attached materials) are a must-see.
